Ribbond THM braided glass fiber splint refill 22 cm
Introduced in 2001, Ribbond THM is a versatile multi-purpose fiber. Thickness 0.18 mm. Available widths: 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 7 mm, and 1 mm (designed for fixed orthodontic retainers).
Width indications
- 2 mm: periodontal splints, bridges, orthodontic retainers, composite restorations, trauma stabilization
- 2 mm and 3 mm: periodontal splints, bridges, composite restorations
- 3 mm and 4 mm: bridges, composite restorations, acrylic applications
- 1 mm (ortho): post-orthodontic fixed retainers only (½ mobility or less); not used like wire — bond to contact points
Starter kits (reference capacity)
- ~25–30 three-unit lingual-bonded anterior bridges with a single-tooth pontic
- ~18–20 canine-to-canine periodontal splints
- ~50–80 composite restorations
