ANA Cal™ provides a high concentration of hydroxyl ions thanks to its high calcium hydroxide content (>38%) while maintaining a smooth consistency. This feature creates a high pH value of 12.4, which has a pronounced bactericidal effect, effectively eliminating bacteria. ANA Cal™ is also a radiopaque product.
The high calcium hydroxide concentration ensures long-term treatment by allowing the paste to release calcium ions over an extended period. ANA Cal™ is a ready-to-use product, supplied in airtight syringes with included needles for direct application.
